Community Development & Support Expenditure

The CDSE scheme is a state-wide initiative that recognises clubs’ significant financial support for projects and services that contribute to the well being of their communities.

There are two classes of expenditure under the CDSE scheme:

• Category 1 – expenditure on specific community welfare and social services, community development, community health services and employment assistance activities
• Category 2 – expenditure on other community development and support services (eg. traditional areas of club expenditure such as support for sport and recreation groups)

Applications for funding:

• Category 1 applicants must use a specific application form which is available from council. All category 1 applications are considered by a local committee.
