Information for Members - dated 8 December 2021

The Epping Club is registered as a NSW Health COVID-Safe venue and adheres to our COVID-Safe Management Plan.

Our number one priority and commitment has always been the safety and wellbeing of our community.

Upon listening to members and guests and taking advice from NSW Health and Industry stakeholders, the decision has been made to continue with mandatory vaccinations for our staff and adhere to the Health Orders for our Members and Guests on the 15th of December.

This means it is a requirement for all staff and contractors to continue to show proof they are fully vaccinated, or have a medical exemption, to be allowed to work until at least 31 January 2022*.

All Members, Guests and Visitors will be required to register through the Service NSW App and then either show a Membership card or Driver Licence to sign into the Club until at least 31 January 2022*.

The Club will continue to follow the advice from NSW Health and any Health Orders that are implemented. The Club made this decision for the following reasons:

The Epping Club is registered as a NSW Health COVID-Safe venue and adheres to our COVID-Safe Management Plan.

The Club has a high duty of care to ensure the health and safety of staff under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (NSW) and under general law.

Vaccination Rates are reaching 95% in the Community, which is why the Health Orders are planned to be changed on the 15th of December.

The risk to the Community has been reduced due to the High Levels of Vaccination in our Community.

We want all our members to be able to enjoy a Safe, Secure and Welcoming Club.

Please note that the above may be subject to change, as we continue to take the advice of NSW Government, NSW Health and our peak industry body, ClubsNSW.

Thank you for your cooperation.

David Taylor OAM, President and Peter Saez CEO.

*This decision to be reviewed by the Board of Directors at the January 2022 meeting
