Meet the CEO


“Nothing is a problem it’s always an opportunity” is the philosophy of Peter Saez the CEO of the award winning The Epping Club.

Peter has worked within the club movement at various establishments including Forestville RSL, The Spanish Club and The Hakoah Club in Bondi.

Peter commenced at The Epping Club in 1989 and was an integral part of the design and construction of the current club building which was opened in 1995 and setting a benchmark within the club industry.

He held honorary roles as Education Committee and Sponsorship Chairman of The Club Management Institute of Australia (now the CMDA) for over 8 years and has been a member of the CMAA for over 37 years.

After 40 years in the hospitality arena Peter has been a big supporter of education and enjoys sharing his vast wealth of knowledge with people moving up within the industry.

Peter’s leadership and customer service ethic has put a professional and dedicated team of people together at The Epping Club and have been rewarded with numerous awards.

Peter is passionate about Food and Beverage and when it comes to first class functions, he ensures the Club delivers the goods.

The last 12 months, of course, have been extraordinary. We have all been affected: our personal lives, our work and our local businesses have all faced adversity in some way. 

At The Epping Club, we are deeply grateful for your continued support and loyalty, in good times  and in bad. This period has made us more determined than ever to provide you with a warm and welcoming place for you to socialise, make new friends, be entertained and most importantly feel safe. We will always strive to provide a 5 Star service; whatever challenges are presented. Today, we are here and thriving because of you! 

With a challenging 2020 behind us, we are now looking forward with great expectations and enthusiasm for a healthier and far less worrying future for our community. Right now, we are stronger and more resilient, and, more than ever, we are determined to stand with our community, to help inspire confidence and healing.

This is why at The Epping Club we not only believe in creating community but also contributing to it. The experience of 2020 makes us even more passionate about this responsibility. To date we have donated over $4 million dollars (through the ClubGrants Program) supporting many charities, associations, schools and community groups. These donations are part of our focus on being impactful, meaningful and a valuable difference in our locale. 

In 2021, your local Club continues to be built around a culture that celebrates five-star service and believes in being a real and engaged stakeholder of the local community.

We are proud to provide a warm, stylish and welcoming place for locals and their guests to socialise, make friends and be entertained. From poker nights to trivia, cocktail hour to mah-jong, The Epping Club is a true local landmark.
