The Epping Club’s Australia Day celebrations were a roaring success, with a sold-out crowd packing out the venue’s Bluey Family Trivia event. Held as part of a broader program designed to offer fresh, family-friendly fun, the trivia night attracted fans of all ages eager to prove their knowledge of Australia’s most beloved animated family. Calling all Bluey superfans! From laugh-out-loud adventures to those heartwarming Heeler family moments, the quiz challenged even the most devoted viewers. The event celebrated the incredible impact of Bluey—now the most downloaded show in ABC iView history and a shining example of Australian storytelling at its best. More than just a children’s program, Bluey has become a global sensation that speaks to young children, parents and grandparents alike. Funny, moving and deeply relatable, it has captured the hearts of viewers around the world and stands as Australia’s most successful media export. What better way to mark Australia Day than with a tribute to a show that represents Aussie life so well?
The Epping Club’s Bluey Trivia drew a mixed demographic of young families, twenty-somethings and older generations, highlighting the universal appeal of the show.
CEO Peter Saez said incorporating popular culture is part of the Club’s strategy to remain current and inclusive.
“Bluey is part of how we are keeping the Club offerings fresh and on-trend. Clubs are moving with the times and celebrating popular culture as a way of bringing people together,” he said. “It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces enjoying a uniquely Australian day.”
Other Australia Day activities at the Club included Kash Koala Bingo, general Australia Day trivia, Sydney Beer Co specials as part of the Club’s ‘supporting local’ initiative, themed food offers and a steady stream of guests enjoying a festive space to come together and celebrate.
The Epping Club joined venues across the state in delivering a successful day of community connection, proudly supported by ClubsNSW in generating publicity and awareness around the vital role clubs play in modern Australian life.
