Dear Member,

It is with great sadness that I share the news of the passing of our much-loved and respected Director and Life Member, Mr John Prestidge RFD ED.

John was a cherished member of The Epping Club community for 46 years and dedicated 22 of those years to serving on our Board of Directors. His loyalty, commitment and genuine care for the Club and its people were unwavering, and his contribution over so many years has left a lasting legacy.

John was a true gentleman who was highly respected by his fellow Directors, Management and staff and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. His warmth, kindness and dedication to our Club will be deeply missed.

John also had a long and proud association with the RSL and Epping RSL Sub-Branch, where he was a Life Member and served as Secretary for 20 years, reflecting his lifelong commitment to his local community.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, Management and everyone at The Epping Club, I extend our deepest condolences to John's beloved wife, Merril, and to his family and loved ones during this very difficult time. Our thoughts are with them as they mourn the loss of a much-loved husband and family member.

We are deeply saddened by John's passing and immensely grateful for the many years he gave to our Club.

He will be remembered with great fondness and respect, and he will be very sadly missed by us all.
