The Epping Club’s popular Literary Luncheons continue to go from strength to strength, uniting a growing community of book lovers and food enthusiasts in a celebration of literature, conversation and delicious food. The Epping Club’s Literary Lunches have built a loyal following of book lovers who come together to share a meal, meet their favourite authors and enjoy great conversation. These relaxed events offer something different—a chance to connect over a shared love of reading.
The Club has consistently secured high-profile and popular authors, with past events featuring names that span genres and audiences. From chick lit to thrillers, political commentary to memoir, the program offers variety and wide appeal. No matter the theme—if it’s a great read, they’ll come.
Next on the Literary Luncheon calendar is feminist icon and commentator Jane Caro on Sunday 6 July followed by acclaimed journo and Four Corners alum Michael Brissenden on Sunday 14 September. Both authors will join guests for an intimate conversation about their latest works, writing process and the ideas shaping their stories.
Peter Saez, CEO of The Epping Club, says the event series reflects the Club’s ongoing commitment to innovation in community engagement.
“We’ve always looked for non-traditional ways to bring people together, and our Literary Lunches have proven a huge success. The Club thrives on offering a point of difference, and the response from our guests has been fantastic.”
From bestselling authors to first-time guests, the series continues to grow and reflects the Club’s focus on creating meaningful, engaging experiences for its community.
Tickets for the upcoming Literary Lunches are available now and include a two-course meal, welcome drink and guest speaker.
