Culinary Legend Visits Miss Yuè as Epping Club Joins Perfect Plate Competition
The Epping Club’s new signature restaurant, Miss Yuè, has entered the Clubs NSW prestigious Perfect Plate Awards, with a visit from none other than Australian food icon Matt Moran marking a major moment in the venue’s food journey.
Launched just six months ago, Miss Yuè has quickly built a reputation for exceptional modern style Chinese cuisine. Its entry in the state-wide competition is a proud moment for the Club, which has long prioritised excellence in hospitality and dining.
Celebrity chef Matt Moran, Perfect Plate Ambassador, visited Miss Yuè to sample the restaurant’s competition dish - Peking Style Fried Egg Roll - and didn’t hold back in his praise, calling it “some of the best Chinese food I’ve eaten in Australia.”
Encouraging locals to rediscover their local club, Moran said, “Guys... get down to the Epping Club and have a feast like this... This is absolutely world class!” View the Matt Moran video here.

The Perfect Plate Awards celebrate excellence in club dining and encourage the community to support local venues by dining and voting for their favourite dishes.
Miss Yuè’s competition dish is available now until Sunday 14 July 2025. Guests who dine and vote go in the draw to win a $100 dining voucher daily, as well as a luxury foodie getaway valued at $3,000.
